Previous situation
Two old Lagerwey 30/200 turbines were regenerated and installed in Italy, but quite a number of the parts were outdated. This was the reason why the turbines lost their production.
Read more To be able to produce green electricity again, the old Lagerwey turbines were in need of new parts and a thorough overhaul. WES installed two new rotor hubs, two new sets of rotor blades and a new control cabinet. The mechanical engineers and the electrical engineers worked on location to regenerate the wind turbines with new parts and software. Close

The reconditioned turbines
In 2020, the two Lagerwey turbines were reconditioned with new WES rotor hubs, blades and control cabinet. The turbines are now WES 30/200 turbines, turbines with a maximum output of 200 kW with a rotor diameter of 30 meter.
Due to the remote connection, we can monitor the turbines on every moment and from every place.
