We share the ambition of the EU islands initiative to support islands communities to enhance their wellbeing and resilience by assisting them in realising their transition to clean energy resources.

Specifically, we will work towards:

• Supporting the members of the Clean Energy for Islands Initiative with our expertise and experience;
• Ensuring relevant and accurate advice for the island communities to proceed with their Clean Energy Transition Agendas, and subsequently with their decarbonisation plans and financing concepts;
• Supporting exchanges and share knowledge, experiences, best practises, tools or resources relevant to the members of the Clean Energy for Islands Initiative;
• Collaborating with other Support Organizations of the Clean Energy for EU Islands Initiative to strengthen islands communities, and foster their joint and coordinated clean energy action

We are ready to put our specific expertise and experience at the service of the islands’ full decarbonisation. The path towards full decarbonisation of EU islands requires concerted action and an collective effort, and we are delighted to join the Community of committed EU islands and Support Organisations to manifest that a clean energy future for EU islands and beyond is possible.
