Zero Emissions Day

21 September. Zero Emissions Day

Zero Emissions Day is inspired by the possibility that we can act collectively to give our world a day off when nothing is turned on. The rules are simple:

  1. Don’t use or burn oil or gas or coal.
  2. Minimize (or eliminate) your use of electricity generated by fossil fuels.
  3. Don’t put anyone in harm’s way: All essential and emergency services operate normally.
  4. Good luck, have fun and enjoy the day!

Join and participate to shrink the footprint, bank millions of barrels and divert millions of tonnes of GHG. Join also because Zero Emissions Day inspires you to come up with all sorts of ideas and ways to spend a day when the only thing that’s “turned on” is you and your community.
